Pads Cut, Filled, Compacted & Finished to Grade in Milton, Pace and Santa Rosa County
An above-ground pool, a shed, a carport, an RV or a parking area all need the same thing first: one dead-level pad that stays level. Zac cuts the high side, fills the low side, compacts it in lifts and finishes it to the grade the project calls for, with water shaped to leave the pad instead of sitting under it. Free walk-through, and one straight price before the machine starts.

Where the pad goes, how big it needs to be, what is going on it, and where the water will go afterwards. A pad that holds water under a pool or a shed floor is a pad that moves.
High ground is cut, low ground is filled, and the fill goes in and gets compacted in lifts so it does not settle later.
Dead level for a pool or a shed, or a slight fall for a parking pad so it sheds rain. Finished smooth, packed and ready for whatever comes next.

Level, compacted and sized for the pool, so the liner and walls stay even.
Dirt or gravel pads finished to the grade the building calls for.
Compacted pads that take the weight and shed water.
Base and gravel spread level and packed, for trucks, trailers and boats.
The cut-and-fill work that turns a slope into a level spot, with the slope shaped so runoff goes around, not under.
Clearing the spot first, a gravel path or driveway to it, and the debris hauled off, all in one visit if you want it.
Around here the ground is mostly sand, and sand that is not compacted settles when it gets wet. A pad that looks level the day it is finished can dip a few months later if the fill was just spread and not packed. Compacting in lifts, and shaping the surroundings so water drains away from the pad, is what keeps it level.
A pad is grading with a purpose. If the yard around it holds water, the grading and leveling page covers drainage grading and yard leveling, and the guide on why yards hold water helps you work out what the yard is doing.

It depends on the size, how much dirt has to move, whether fill has to be brought in, and access. You get one straight price from a free walk-through. The yard grading cost guide explains what moves the number.
Yes. Pool pads are one of the most common jobs. The pad is cut, filled, compacted and finished dead level, sized for the pool you are putting on it.
Yes. A compacted base with gravel spread level and packed, shaped so it sheds rain. The finished parking pad in the photos is an example.
A pad settles when fill is spread and not compacted. Zac compacts in lifts and shapes the ground so water leaves the pad, which is what keeps it level.
If there is brush or small trees where the pad goes, Zac clears it in the same visit. See land clearing.
Most residential pads are a day or less. Big pads, steep yards or pads that need a lot of fill take longer, and Zac tells you at the walk-through.
