Brush, vines, undergrowth and small trees taken out of lots, fence lines and overgrown acreage around Jay. Debris gets piled, hauled off, or mulched in place.
More on land clearing →Fields, pasture and acreage that have been left to grow up, cut back down. A recurring cut keeps it from coming back.
More on bush hogging →New gravel or millings driveways, and rebuilds for ones that have washed out or rutted. If yours keeps washing out, start with why it happens: the washout guide explains it.
More on gravel driveways →Drainage shaping, pads and leveling so water leaves the property instead of sitting on it.
More on grading and leveling →Thick brush and small trees ground into mulch right where they stand. No burn piles, nothing to haul, ground left covered.
More on forestry mulching →Potholes, ruts, washouts and soft entrances fixed at the cause, with the crown and drainage restored.
More on gravel driveway repair →Most properties need more than one of these in a row: clear it, grade it, put a driveway in, haul the debris. Here that's one walk-through with Zac and one straight price, instead of lining up several contractors.
Jay sits on high ground on the east side of the Escambia River in the northwest corner of Santa Rosa County, and it has a long farming history. Fields and fence lines that stop being worked fill in fast in this climate.
The county soil survey describes much of north Santa Rosa County as well-drained sandy and loamy upland, with erosion a concern on the steeper slopes, and poorly drained ground along creeks and the Escambia River bottoms. In practice that means a driveway or cleared area on higher ground drains well if it's shaped right, and low ground near a creek needs a different plan. Walking the property before pricing it is how we tell which one you have.
